Show Player is designed with privacy in mind. The app does not collect, store, or transmit personal user data. Its sole purpose is to connect to software running on a user-controlled PC within the same network.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Show Player does not collect or process:

• Personal information
• Usage analytics
• Location data
• Contacts or files
• Device identifiers for tracking
• Account information

The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks.

Show Player communicates with companion software running on a PC using local network connections. This communication happens only within your network and is used solely to control or interact with the PC-hosted software.

The app performs:

• Local API calls to the PC-hosted software
• Local network discovery using mDNS (Multicast DNS)

These operations remain within your local network and are not transmitted to external servers.

Show Player uses mDNS to automatically discover compatible software running on your local network. This discovery process:

• Occurs only on your local network
• Does not send information outside your network
• Does not collect or store personal data

If you manually configure a connection using a hard link (IP address), the app stores this IP address locally on your iPad. This is done solely to reconnect automatically the next time the app is opened.

This stored information:

• Is saved only on your device
• Is not transmitted externally
• Can be removed by deleting the app or changing settings

Show Player does not share any data with third parties because no user data is collected.

All communication occurs within your local network between your iPad and your PC. No external servers are involved.

Show Player does not collect any personal data from users of any age, including children.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the "Last updated" date above.
